The EU 2014-2020 budget of € 960 billion, focuses on:

Beneficiaries of EU funded programmes are businesses, cities and regions, public and private bodies, non-profit organisations, universities and research centres, students, researchers, farmers and European citizens.

The new financial period 2014-2020 brings in a whole set of new programmes that cover Europe’s political priorities for the next 7 years, in line with the Europe 2020 strategy for smart, sustainable and inclusive growth. The 2014–2020 Multiannual Financial Framework – 960 billion euros – finances activities and projects ranging from research and innovation, growth and competitiveness, education and job opportunities, environment and social inclusion.
